Vijay's 51st Film is Malayalam Movie Bodyguard Remake

The latest news about Vijay’s 51st movie is that Sivaraju Venkatraju with produce the 51st movie.

Vijay’s 51st movie is going to be produced by Sivaraju Venkatraju, who last made Priymanavale with Vijay in 2000. Vjay’s 50th film Sura is being produced by his Kathalikku Mariyathai producer Sangli Murugan.

Vijay 51st movie is going to remake of Malayalam super hit movie Bodyguard, directed by Siddique who will also do the Tamil version which will be produced by Sivaraju Venkatraju of Geetha Chitra International, Telugu film producers. Read the rest of this entry »

Sun Pictures acquires Sura

Followed by the grand success of “Vettaikaran’, Sun Pictures have once again inked a deal with Vijay’s another film “Sura’. The film is produced by Sangali Murugan and is directed by S.P. Rajkumar. Starring Vijay in lead role, the film started rolling three months ago and is all set to be completed by first week of March.

Meanwhile, the producers of Sun Pictures have officially confirmed about acquiring rights over Vijay’s 50th film. The film features Thamannah in female lead and comedy king Vadivelu is expected to sway on with his rib-tickling hilarious quotients. Sun Picture Confirms Vijay’s Sura

Good news for all Vijay fans. It’s official now, Sun Pictures have confirmed that Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 50th film Sura rights has been acquired by them and will be marketed by them.

Sun Pictures is planning for a mega release this summer with Sura. Directed by S. P. Rajakumar and produced by Sangili Murugan Sura features Vijay and Tamannah in lead roles. The film score is to be composed by Mani Sharma, who is the music composer of vijay’s Block buster Movie ‘Pokkiri. Read the rest of this entry »

Vijay’s Vettaikaran has completed 25 days. The movie has been declared has hit by trade and it has collected nearly 4 crores in Chennai alone.

Vettaikaran was released on December 18th across world wide. In chennai alone the movie was released in 16 screens.  Vettaikaran features Vijay and Anushka in lead roles.

Vijay in Thiruvananthapuram

Illayathalapthy Vijay was in Thiruvananthapuram to promote movie ‘Vettaikaaran’. Vijay celebrated Vettaikaaran movie 25 days run at 1440 seater New Theatre, one of the biggest screens in India.

Thousands of Vijay fans came over to attend the function and to see a glimse of their hero.  Police found difficult to control the people and fans.
