Ilayathalapathy Vijay has decided to concentrate more on his film carrier rather then politics. Recently Vijay said at a press meet “At present, I am concentrating only on acting in movies”.
Vijay has completed the shooting for his Vettaikaran which has been acquired recently by Sun pictures. Vettaikaran has only one song to be shot in the abroad and the movie will be released for this Diwali on October 17th.
Now vijay has started his work for his mile stone 50th movie of his carrier. The film’s shooting will start from Friday, September 18th at Alapuzha beach in Kerala. The untitled movie is being produced by Sangli Murugan under Murugan Cine Arts.
Urimai Kural and Sura are two titles under discussion for the movie and it will be decided after discussing with Vijay and his fans. The movie is set in a slum near the sea and hero name is the movie will be Sura. Actress Tamanna does the female lead role in the movie, Vadivel takes care of comedy and Pasupathy does the villian role. Vijay’s 50th film may be title as Sura and it will be ready for a big world wide release on April 15, 2010.
Vettaikaran, Vijay’s 49th film is in the final stages and as per sources the movie will be ready for the post production work shortly. Mean while Vijay is gearing up for his grand 50th and golden jubilee film Urimai Kural. As per Sources Urimai Kural shooting may commence as early as, the first week of September. Earlier we reported that Actor Vijay’s 50th film has been titled as Urimai Kural and it will be produced by Sangili Murugan. The movie is being written and directed by Rajkumar. Vijay pairs up with Kollywood’s happening heroine Tamanna for the first time.
As per latest sources Pasupathi will play the villain role in the movie. The music for the film will be scored by Mani Sharmi and lyrics will be penned by veteran lyricist Vaali. The other technicians include cameraman MS Prabhu, and art director Rajeevan. The movie shooting is expected to start by end of September and the producers are planning for a big 2010 summer release. Earlier there was rumors floating around everywhere that Gowtham Menon is going to direct Vijay. But nothing got confirmed and the rumors died down itself. But now the Director himself has confirmed about directing Vijay’s film. Gowtham Menon said that he will direct Vijay in a movie soon and they have been discussing the script.
