Vijay’s 50th Movie Urimai Kural Update

Earlier we reported that Actor Vijay’s 50th film has been titled as Urimai Kural and it will be produced by Sangili Murugan. The movie is being written and directed by Rajkumar. Vijay pairs up with Kollywood’s happening heroine Tamanna for the first time.

As per latest sources Pasupathi will play the villain role in the movie. The music for the film will be scored by Mani Sharmi and lyrics will be penned by veteran lyricist Vaali. The other technicians include cameraman MS Prabhu, and art director Rajeevan. The movie shooting is expected to start by end of September and the producers are planning for a big 2010 summer release. Gowtham Menon to Direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay

Earlier there was rumors floating around everywhere that Gowtham Menon is going to direct Vijay. But nothing got confirmed and the rumors died down itself. But now the Director himself has confirmed about directing Vijay’s film. Gowtham Menon said that he will direct Vijay in a movie soon and they have been discussing the script. Vijay’s 50th film Urimai Kural

Just few days ago we reported that Actor Vijay’s 50th film has been confirmed and it will be produced by Sangili Murugan, who has directed Vijay’s all time best hit Kadhalukku Mariyadhai. Now the producer has registered the old MGR film title Urimai Kural for Vijay‘s Golden Jubilee film. So Urimai Kural will be the title for Vijay’s 50th film.

Vijay is currently busy with his movie Vettaikaran directed by Babu Shivan, an assistant director of Dharani. Vettaikaran is produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan and will be distributed by AVM Productions. The film has Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
