kaavalkaran Shooting in Vellore

Vijay and Asin has has started their second shooting schedule of kaavalkaran at vellore. Vijay, Asin along with director Siddique and rest of crew are shooting in VIT campus on Vellore from May 16.

Vijay’s son Sanjay is said to do a cameo in the climax of the movie as the son Vijay.

There was a huge crowd on location at the VIT campus to see Vijay and Asin. Last time such crowds were seen was when Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai shot for Endhiran at the same location.

Vijay’s 51st movie Kavalkaran shooting was going on full swing in Karaikkudi and Kumbakonam regions of Tamil nadu. Vijay and Asin along the other crew members was shooting for the the film at these locations.

Now Asin has completed her Karaikudi schedule and gone back to Mumbai. Director Siddique says: “We would have completed nearly 30 percent of the film, when the first schedule ends on April 30. It is shaping out very well. Vijay is an extraordinary artist and his performance is going to be amazing in the film.” Read the rest of this entry »

Vijay & Asin Pairing Again!

The wait is all over for all Vijay fans. Actress Asin will playing the heroine role in Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Tamil remake of Malayalam Bodyguard!

Sources close to Asin have confirmed that the actress has given her nod to do the Tamil remake. Asin and Vijay are pairing together for third time after their blockbuster hits of Sivakasi and Pokkiri.

The movie will be directed by Siddique who did the original and produced by Sivaraju Venkatraju of Geetha Chitra International, who last made Priymanavale with Vijay in 2000.

The shoot of Bodyguard in Tamil is likely to start in the middle of March in Chennai.

Vijay 51st Movie Thalapathi?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is busy shooting for his upcoming 5oth movie Sura under the direction of Rajkumar. Meanwhile Vijay has signed a movie with Aascar Ravichandran, which will be the Vijay’s 51st film. The movie directed by Jayam Raja will be titled as “Thalapathi” .

Thalapathi[1991] is the title of Rajinikanth-Mammootty blockbuster movie directed by Mani Ratnam. Sources say that the similarity ends with the title. While Thalapath movie dealt with the friendship between two gangsters and the new Vijay movie will be a family entertainer with loads of action.

As per latest buzz Actress Asin has been approached by Vijay to pair with him in Thalapathi. Discussions are going on to finalize the other movie cast and crew, as per sources some of the big names of Tamil industry is going to be roped in. So stay tuned to Vijayfansclub.com for more updates.
