Vijay’s Vettaikaran has completed 25 days. The movie has been declared has hit by trade and it has collected nearly 4 crores in Chennai alone.
Vettaikaran was released on December 18th across world wide. In chennai alone the movie was released in 16 screens. Vettaikaran features Vijay and Anushka in lead roles.
‘Vettaikaran’ director on cloud nine With Vijay’s “Vettaikaran’ slated to hit screens this Friday (December 18), a special show for the entire team was screened last evening at Four Frames Theatre, Chennai.
Well, it was a simple affair as the screening took place without any media channels being invited. But the closer sources revealed something interesting about Babu Sivan, who makes his debut directorial with “Vettaikaran’.
It seems that producers of Sun Pictures had personally invited Babu Sivan’s family for the show. Since, the director had already decided that his family members must watch the film along with general audiences in theatres; they didn’t accompany him for this special screening.
The distributors have already proclaimed that “Vettaikaran’ would surely overshadow the previous records of Vijay’s films. Although, the film has already done good business at box office, the debutant is eagerly looking out for day of release so as to experience the feedback from audiences.
Vijay’s mega budget action extravaganza Vettaikaran rights, has now been sold at a new record price for Kerala and Karnataka.
In Kerala the film has been sold at a record price and it is a new record for a Vijay film. Vettaikaran is releasing world wide on December 18 and in kerala alone it is opening in nearly 75 screens.
Vettaikaran features Vijay and Anoushka in lead roles, it is being directed by Babu Sivan. The movie distribution rights have been aquired by Sun pictures and it has started a massive promo on all it channels from December 1st.
Sun Pictures have now successfully started promotions for Vijay’s upcoming film “Vettaikaran’. Sun Pictures –a wing of Sun Network continuously picks the commercial films and promotes them vividly. Of course, those films have witnessed big collections at box office indeed.
Followed by the grand success of “Ninaithale Inikkum’ and “Kanden Kadhalai’, Sun Pictures has now turned its focus on “Vettaikaran’. The film feature Vijay and Anushka in lead roles and is directed by debutant Babu Sivan.
The film is produced by AVM Productions and later Sun Pictures acquired the rights for a record price. Recently, there were some buzzes about Hansraj Saxena, COO of Sun Pictures insisting Vijay to re-shoot some sequences that involved political dialogues. The wait is finally over for all vijay fans and the good news good news is that Vettaikaran will be roaring soon in the screens. Sun Pictures who has acquired Vettaikaran movie rights, has now confirmed that the film will hit screens during Christmas on December 18. The film is being produced by AVM Productions and is directed by debutant Babu Sivan.
