The buzz on our Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s, Sun Pictures Vettaikaran is getting bigger and bigger in the trade. The film’s peppy songs which is of Vijay Antony’s trademark is slowly topping up the charts.
Vettaikaran audio release function will be telecasted on Sun TV on Sunday 7.30 Pm. Some intro scenes from the movie will also feature in the program.
In the ongoing promo of the Vettaikaran audio release function in Sun TV, Vijay himself is seen singing and promoting the hit number- Naan Adicha… the title song. Vettaikaran is said to be another typical Vijay mass masala and it will surely be a treat for all Vijay fans.

Finally good news for all Vijay fans. Sun Pictures who has acquired Vettaikaran movie rights, has now confirmed that the film will hit screens during Christmas on December 18. The film is being produced by AVM Productions and is directed by debutant Babu Sivan.
Ever since, the project was undertaken by Sun Pictures, it had furthermore raised everyone’s expectations as this production house acquires rights over the film that has good quality entertainment. As Diwali is nearing, Kollywood is getting ready for big releases this year. But the bad news for all Vijay fans is that, it is almost certain that Vettaikaran will not be released for this Diwali!
Sources close to the actor says that the film is not likely to be ready for release, as a song is being shot followed by post production work, and it will be impossible to get it ready for the festival of lights falling on October 17.
A song which was to be shot in New Zealand, was changed due to certain visa problems. Now the same song which was to be shot abroad is being canned at Pune, Lonavala and surrounding areas on Vijay and Anushka. Read the rest of this entry »
