Sura Audio Release Confirmed on March 29

Vijay’s much expected movie Sura audio release date has now been confirmed by Sun Pictures. Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Sura audio will be launched at March 29(Monday) evening at Lady Andal auditorium on Harrington Road in Chennai.

Vijay wants to make it a memorable evening as Sura is his 50th Golden Jubilee film which has music by his favourite Mani Sharma. The star has called all his heroines who have worked with him for this unique function.

Vijay and Tamannaah along with the rest of Sura Crew will be back in Chennai from Christchurch in New Zealand today where they had gone to shoot for the last song in the film. Read the rest of this entry »

Sura Audio Release on March 29

Finally good news for all Vijay fans. As per sources Vijay’s much expected movie Sura audio is all set to be released on March 29. The music for the movie has been scored by Mani Sharma.

The buzz is that the music of Mani Sharma is rocking and it’s already creating waves across the industry. Sura Promo will start in the last week of March on Sun Network. Sura is expected to release on April 23.

Sura features Vijay and Tamannah in lead roles. The movie is being directed by S.P.Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. The movie distribution rights has been acquired by Sun Pictures.

Vijay & Tamannah Flys to New Zealand!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Tamannah along with the crew members of Sura has flown to New Zealand countryside! to shoot for a duet song. The Sura unit has left for New Zealand on Friday (March 19) night for New Zealand to shoot the song tuned by Mani Sharma and is said to be a peppy melody. Vijay and the team has to come back to Chennai in six days as the audio launch of the film is slated for March 26.

Earlier it was planned to go to New York and its surrounding areas for the song shoot. But at the last minute due to time constraints producer Sangili Murugan changed the locations, since he has to submit the final copy of the film to Sun Pictures before March 30.

As per sources the Sun team will watch the movie and suggest the necessary changes to make in the movie so that they can start their mega promotion for the movie by April 1st week.

As of now Sura is likely to release by April 23 or 30, as Vijay’s Golden Jubilee film.

Vijay’s Sura Shooting in Ooty & Ramnathapuram

Ilayathalapathy Vijay‘s Sura song has been shoot recently in  Ooty, Ramanathapuram and Rameswaram. Sura music has been tuned by Vijay’s favourite music director Mani Sharma.

The song written by Kapilan, Vijay’s favourite mass song lyricis illustrates through the lyrics the green and cool climate of the Nilagiris and compares it with the brown dryness of Ramnathapuram and the blue of the ocean in Rameswaram. The song is going to be one of the highlights of the Vijay film.

Sura directed by SP Rajakumar and produced by Sangli Murugan has been acquired by Sun Pictures. Sun Pictures has planned to relase Sura has a big summer relase on April 14

Sun Pictures acquires Sura

Followed by the grand success of “Vettaikaran’, Sun Pictures have once again inked a deal with Vijay’s another film “Sura’. The film is produced by Sangali Murugan and is directed by S.P. Rajkumar. Starring Vijay in lead role, the film started rolling three months ago and is all set to be completed by first week of March.

Meanwhile, the producers of Sun Pictures have officially confirmed about acquiring rights over Vijay’s 50th film. The film features Thamannah in female lead and comedy king Vadivelu is expected to sway on with his rib-tickling hilarious quotients.
