Good news for all Vijay fans. Putting all speculations behinds, Vijay’s Kaavalan has released worldwide today with a bang. The movie has taken extraordinary advance booking and almost all the show for next 5 days are booked.

Kaavalan went in to lots trouble in past 1 months and finally after crossing all hurdles Vijay’s Kaavalan has released today. In chennai the advance booking for Kaavalan started only yesterday and night and the tickets has already been sold out for next five days within 10 hours of starting online booking.

The advance booking and house full shows of Kaavalan shows Vijay’s mass and this has silenced all vijay’s critics. Kaavalan Movie Censored, Confirms Release!

Good News for all Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans. Vijay’s much eagerly awaited movie Kaavalan has been censored by regional censor board in Chennai today with a clean ‘U’ certificate.

Kaavalan being censored confirms that the movie will be release worldwide on January 14, for Pongal as planned. Theatre bookings and other distribution activities has already started in full swing from today.

Kaavalan directed by Sidduque features Vijay and Asin in lead roles while other cast includes Mitra Kurian, KK and Vadivelu. Siddique directed film is a remake of the director’s Malayalam film Bodyguard and has music by Vidyasagar. Read the rest of this entry »

Vijay Kaavalan To Release on Pongal – Kaavalan Release Date

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s much expected movie Kaavalan release date has now been confirmed. Kaavalan movie will be release worldwide on 2011 pongal. An official ad from the Kaavalan producers has been released on sunday’s newspapers stating that the movie will be release for 2011 pongal.

Earlier the movie was expected to release on December 10 and December 23rd. Kaavalan audio was release on December 8th and the songs are already become a huge hit.

Kaavalan is Vijay’s 51st film and it is remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard and nearly 80 percent of the film is complete. Kaavalan features Vijay and Asin lead roles and it is being directed by Siddique. Read the rest of this entry »

Vijay Kaavalan Shooting Completed

Vijay’s Kaavalan movie entire shooting has been completed on friday. Kaavalan last shot was taken at the Birla Planetarium in Kotturpuram in Chennai and the traditional ‘Poosnikai’ was broken marking the completion of shoot of the film.

Only one song has to shot in abroad and it will shot in November. Kaavalan directed by Siddique is the remake of his super hit malayalam movie Bodyguard.

Vijay Kaavalan Rights Sold For Record Prices!

Vijay has proved once again that he is Ghilli of Kollywood Box office. Vijay‘s much expected upcoming movie Kaavalan has created a huge buzz around his fans and trade sources.

In the international market Ilayathalapathy Vijay has a huge solid fan base and it has been proved through his Kaavalan overseas rights. Tantra films, an overseas distributor has snapped up Vijay-Asin starrer Kaavalan at a record price.

As per trade soruces Vijay’ Kaavalan‘s FMS (overseas) rights has been sold for Rs 6 Crore to Tantra, nearly Rs 2 crore more than what the Vijay’s last film fetched! The Vijay power at the overseas box-office is increasing with every film. Read the rest of this entry »
