It was only yesterday that we broke the story of director Hari and his cameraman for 10 films Priyan parting ways. Now we have a news that would confirm the rift and new alignment.

Reliable sources say Priyan has joined the team of ‘Jayam’ Raja and will wield the camera for the Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay film ‘Velayudham’ directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja. ‘Jayam’ Raja who has directed only remakes so far is coming with an original script for the first time, his sources say.

‘Velayudham’ is said to be an entertainer with social messages suiting Vijay’s current image. Genelia is the heroine and there is also an important character that of hero’s sister in the film. The sentimental sister role will be played by ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ Saranya Mohan.
