தமிழ் சினிமாவில் ர‌ஜினி, கமலுக்கு அடுத்து அதிகபடியான வியாபாரம் விஜய் படங்களுக்கு என்பது கத்துக்குட்டி சினிமா ரசிகனுக்கும் தெ‌ரியும். ஆனால் தற்போது தொடர் தோல்விகளுக்குப் பிறகு அவரது மார்க்கெட் வேல்யூ இறங்குமுகத்தில் இருப்பதாகச் சொல்வது உண்மையா என்றால் அதுதான் இல்லை.

3 Idiots is Rascals in Tamil and Telugu?

Shankar, one of the most celebrated directors in South India, will direct the much-discussed remakes of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. Gemini Film Circuit will be producing the flick in both languages. Vijay and Mahesh Babu will play the lead role in Tamil and Telugu respectively. The latest buzz is that the film has been titled as Rascals in Tamil and Telugu! Official confirmation is awaited.

Notably, this is the first time Shankar will attempt a remake exercise. At present, the director is busy with the release formalities of Enthiran, starring superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

SAC to remake ‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’

‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’ was one of the important films of the 1980s which is still remembered by many for its bold knot and brave narration. It was the movie that brought Vijayakanth and S A Chandrasekar to limelight.

And now, the filmmaker is gearing up to remake the movie with new faces in the lead. “SAC is currently busy holding auditions and will make an official announcement soon,” say circles close to him.

Saying that the new version would be made according to the tastes and preferences of the younger generation, they add: “The screenplay would undergo some important changes based on today’s scenario.”

Chandrasekar’s last production venture was ‘Veluthu Kattu’, which was directed by his former associate Senpathi Magan. The film which hit screens a couple of months ago was based on incidents happened in SAC’s life.

51. KAAVALAN: VIJAY-SIDDIQUE-VIDYASAGAR:- Vijay and Siddique joining hands once again after Friends movie which was released 10 years ago. This movies is a full and full romantic story & we fans can expect the romantic Vijay’s performance as he did during TMT, Kadhalukku Mariyaadhai days. Adding to it, Asin & Vadivelu are part of this movie, so we can expect a decent movie from him which will be released by this DIWALI. ( A Diwali Treat is Ready).

52.VELAYUTHAM-RAJA-VIJAY ANTONY:- Extravagant producer Aascar films Ravichandran and director M.Raja who directed only his brother in the lead, is going to direct Vijay which will be a special moment for him & the fans. Though released stills resembles some super hero type movie, I am going to keep my fingers crossed till the release of the movie.

53. 3 IDIOTS-SHANKAR-HARRIS:- Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…what else a Vijay fan expect. Acting in a Shankar movie is something special and double bonus but it has been a dream one since Mudhalvan days. Now they both joined and Harris joined Vijay for the first time. Even though this movie is a remake of Hindi Block Buster 3 Idiots, official announcement has not been made. Vijay flags Off Eye Donation Rally

Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay flagged off a rally on Sunday to create awareness on eye donation. Organised by Rotary Rajan Eye Bank, Project of Rotary Club of Madras T. Nagar, the rally was a part of National Eye Donation Fortnight.

The rally was flagged of by Vijay at the Marina in the presence of Chennai Mayor M. Subramaniyan. A lot of students from various schools and colleges in Chennai also participated in the rally.

Ilaya Thalapathi’s philanthropic activities are well known and he has proved once again he will be right up there for any good cause.

After the release of Endhiran, Shankar will start work for his next movie ‘Rascal’. This is a remake of the hugely successful Hindi movie 3 Idiots which was directed by Raju Hirani. It was earlier confirmed that Vijay, STR and Madhavan will substitute the roles of Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Madhavan himself. But since STR and Madhavan pulled out, the scout was on to find suitable replacements.

Now we hear that Shankar has finalized actress Ileana as the heroine of the movie. Ileana earlier starred in the 2006 film Kedi alongside Ravi Krishna. She is also acting with Vikram in Bhoopathi Pandian’s next movie Vedi. It is already confirmed that Harris Jeyaraj will be scoring the music and Manoj Paramahamsa of VTV fame will be wielding the camera for Rascal.

Velayudham Shooting In Andhra

We know that Vijay is busy shooting his new movie titled ‘Velayudham’ under the direction of Jayam Raja. This film is produced by Oscar Ravichandran and Hansika.Genelia is playing the female lead opposite Vijay. Cinematographer Priyan, who has worked for Suriya starrer ‘Singam’ is the man behind the camera of Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ too. Vijay Anthony is composing the music. The film shooting is progressing at a rapid pace and the crew has already completed its first schedule in Chennai for 15 days. A song was shot with the lead pair for 8 days in a complex set for the value of Rs 1 crore. The crew is currently shooting in Golconda, Andhra Pradesh. The stunt master Selvam, has shot stunt scenes involving Vijay and stunt men.

Thanx Haroon. I dont know about Chennai. Am from Nagalapuram andhra. i like thalabathy more than anyone. Though Thalabathy has Less mass in andhra(its cuz of Andhra dubbing movies) I luv him. Most of people here like Sury@ after the Hit of Yammudu and Rest like Ajit. But I dont care about them. I back our thalabathy to de core among them.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is all set to team up with director Vikram K. Kumar of Yaavarum Nalam fame for an upcoming Kollywood flick. The actor is currently busy with Siddique’s Kaavalan opposite Asin and Jayam Raja’s Velayudham with Genelia and Hansika Motwani.

According to reports,Vikram Kumar will direct Vijay’s 53rd film which is expected to go on floors in December.

Hi good morning to all our anna fans.

Director-actor-Tamil activist Seeman is all set to enter his favourite area of directing films after a long hiatus. He has recently committed to direct the film ‘Pagalavan’ starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead. The film would be produced in a grand manner by ‘Kalaipuli’ Thaanu. This would be the first time Seeman would be directing a popular hero.

Director Seeman had directed Madhavan, though, in his ‘Thambi’ and ‘Vaazhthugal’. Those films and his other films always carried some social message. It, however, remains to be seen as to what message Seeman would manage to convey through the Vijay-starrer.

Vijay’s heroine and other technicians like music director, cinematographer and editor, would be finalized soon and an official announcement in this regard is expected in a week’s time, sources say. Speaking about his project with Vijay in the lead, Seeman said, “It’s a fact that I’m aligning with Vijay for my next film. ‘Kalaipuli’ Thaanu would be producing the film. Quality-wise, this film would at least be twice of my earlier film ‘Thambi’. I can assure that.”

For Thaanu, this would be the second film with Vijay after the dud “Sachein’, which released around six years ago. “Everybody knows Seeman’s credentials; I haven’t much to add in this regard. I feel proud in producing a film directed by Seeman. Other details would be announced soon,” says Thaanu.

He Didn’t Like Rajini’s Activities of Supporting His Homeland Karnataka And Always seems to be Helping Kannadians On the Other Hand He nowhere Seemed to be Helpful For Tamili’s. so BR Has been Made Enemity Statements about Rajni and Bashed him In Every functions He speaks. So Rajni who Didn’t Like to invite him in person Sent a Invitation Via Courier , and this seemed to be unformal Way For BR And To confirm that He resent a courier to Rajni’s House itself.
And About IR,
We never Saw Both Rajni and Ir Together In any functions, They both Have No Relationship Among them. KAAVALAN

The film is portrays a peculiar youngster Arjun (Vijay), who adores the most powerful people and wants to be their bodyguard.
