Fire on Vettaikkaaran Movie Sets

Vettaikkaaran Sets on the AVM Studio was gutted with fir on the wee hours of today morning (July 31), luckily no one was injured since the shooting was over. Fire engine reach the spot arond 3am and the fire was completely put off.

It is said that fire started from the 6th floor on which a private television channel has put up sets for their reality dance show and it spread to the 7th floor where Vettaikkaaran set was put up.

AVM Balasubramaniyam who is also the producer of Vettaikkaaran said “The fire started from 6th floor and it spread to the 7th floor where our sets are put up for a small fight sequence featuring Vijay, Anushka and the villains. Yesterday evening the fight sequence was shot by director Babu Sivan with Stunt Choreographer Kanal Kannan”.

But the shooting of Vettaikkaaran will resume tomorrow with some outdoor scenes and by next week a song sequence featuring Vijay and Anushka will be shot in the 8th floor of the AVM Studios.
