Vijay Kaavalan Shooting Completed

Vijay’s Kaavalan movie entire shooting has been completed on friday. Kaavalan last shot was taken at the Birla Planetarium in Kotturpuram in Chennai and the traditional ‘Poosnikai’ was broken marking the completion of shoot of the film.

Only one song has to shot in abroad and it will shot in November. Kaavalan directed by Siddique is the remake of his super hit malayalam movie Bodyguard.

Asin on completing the movie shoot said : “It was wonderful working with Siddique sir and Vijay and now the talkie portion is complete”.

Currently is doing dubbing work for Kaavalan. As per sources asin has equal footage with Vijay. Vijay and asin pair is back after their previous super hit movies Pokkiri and Sivakasi.

Melody King Vidyasagar is
providing music for Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Kaavalan. Vijay and Vidyasagar combination
has always rocked.
Vidya is actually a Vijay favourite from his early days and Kaavalan is their seventh film together after- Coimbatore Maapillai,
Nilaave Vaa, Tirumalai, Ghilli, Aathi and Kuruvi. Who can forget the combo’s super chartbuster, Appadi PoduÃ¢
â‚¬ Â¦, which music critics say is the ultimate koothu pattu in Tamil films.

Now Vidyasagar and Vijay are
coming together after a break with Kaavalan. Vidya has tuned five songs for the film, which he feels is going to be a different musical trip.

Vidyasagar said: ” Kaavalan
music is going to be something totally different from what I had done with Vijay earlier. I have
experimented with melody and it is altogether a new experience. There are no kuthu songs in the film. It will be melodious numbers with a western touch, same time
peppy and fast…”

Director Shankar over the moon as magnum opus Endhiran, drawing crowds in all the versions. The trade analysts have predicted that there will be house-packed shows for the next three weeks. The filmmaker was recently in Mumbai for the promotion of the Hindi version, The Robot and screened the film for the Bollywood celebrities.

He happened to shake hands with the team of 3 Idiots makers (producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, director Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan) as they walked on the red carpet premiere of The Robot. Shankar was reported of getting some tips from the team, as it happens to be the first remake project in Shankarâ€™s career.

Earlier, Shankar had approached Madhavan and Silambarasan to perform the lead roles alongside Vijay. But as they turned down the offer, Shankar has finally confirmed Jeeva and Siddarth for the roles. Shankarâ€™s closer sources report that Jeeva will be enacting Madhavanâ€™s role while Sharman Joshiâ€™s character will be performed by Siddarth. Harris Jayaraj will score music to the lyrics of Vairamuthu and Manoj Paramahamsa has been signed to handle the cinematography.

Shankar has plans of completing the filmâ€™s shooting within a span of 6 months as producers want the film to be released in the summer vacations of 2011. But the director is yet to find Miss Idiot.
