Ilayathalapathy Vijay is hitting the headlines on daily basis, Vijay is currently busy shooting simultaneouly for both his 51st untitled movie which is a remake of Bodyguard and also his 52nd movie titled VELAYUDHAM, directed by Raja.

Now Vijay is currently shooting for Velayudham and is at Golkonda, Hyderabad , wherein some important fight scenes are being shot and the team would finish their schedule at Hyderabad and would be back to chennai on August 1st.Vijay would then take a break from Velayudham and would resume his shoot for his 51st movie directed by Siddiq.And in the mean time , the Velayudham team would take their break and be ready for their next schedule.

Ileana or Trisha in 3 Idiots remakes?

A spokesperson of Gemini Film Circuit (GFC), which bagged the Tamil-Telugu remake rights of the biggest Hindi blockbuster 3 Idiots, confirmed that this project will take place after numero uno director Shankar releases his magnum opus Endhiran starring Rajinikanth.

Recently Shankar’s publicist tweeted that Vijay, Simbu and Madhavan, along with Sathyaraj (in the role made memorable by Boman Irani), will feature in the Tamil version, while the only change in the Telugu version will be Mahesh Babu replacing Vijay.

Then Madhavan tweeted, “So sorry folks! I’m unable to do 3 Idiots in Tamil and Telugu. Have other plans. I am sure they will find worthier replacements.”

Now the latest buzz is that the numero uno director is considering Ileana or Trisha to play Kareena Kapoor’s role in both Tamil and Telugu.

‘எந்திரன்’ படத்தை மிஞ்சிய ’3 இடியட்ஸ்’!

‘எந்திரன்’ படத்தை பற்றி ஒருபுறம் பரப்பரப்பான செய்திகள் வெளியாகும், அதே சமயத்தில் அச்செய்தியை விட 3 இடியட்ஸ் படத்தின் தமிழ் ரீமேக்கை பற்றிய பரபரப்பு கோடம்பாக்கத்தில் தொற்றிக்கொண்டுள்ளது.

இப்படத்தில் முதலில் நடிக்க ஒப்புக்கொண்ட விஜய் பிறகு தயக்கம் காட்டியதும், பிறகு ஷங்கர் இப்படத்தை இயக்குவதாக அறிவித்த பிறகு, விஜய் இதில் கண்டிப்பாக நடிப்பதாக தெரிவித்தது தெரிந்ததே.

விஜய், அமீர்கான் நடித்த வேடத்தில் நடிப்பார் என்பது கிட்டதட்ட உறுதியான விசயம் என்றாலும், மற்றொரு வேடத்தில் சிம்பு நடிப்பதாக சொல்லப்படுகிறது (அவர் அஜீத் ரசிகராச்சே, இந்த படத்திலே அஜீத் போஸ்டர காட்டவேண்டும் என்று அடம்பிடிச்சாறுனா) இருப்பினும் மாதவன் நடிச்ச வேடத்தில் யார் நடிப்பது என்பதுதான் இன்னும் புரளியாகக்கூட வெளிவராத செய்தியாக இருக்கிறது.

எது எப்படியோ ‘எந்திரன்’ இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவிற்கு பிறகு ’3 இடியட்ஸ்’ தமிழ் ரீமேக்கை பற்றி எதாவது உறுதியான செய்தி வரும் என்று நம்பலாம்.

ஊடகப் பரபரப்புக்கு முன் நம் காதுகளை எட்டியிருக்கிறது இந்த செய்தி. இளையதளபதி விஜய், சென்னை துறைமுகத்தில் முக்கிய பொறுப்பில் இருக்கும் தனது நெருங்கிய உறவினரை அனுப்பி சீமானை பார்த்து வரச்சொல்லியிருகிறார் என்ற ஆச்சர்யமான தகவல்தான் நம் காதுகளை எட்டிய அந்தப் புதிய செய்தி.
நாம் தமிழர் இயக்கத் தலைவரும், திரைஇயக்குனருமான சீமான், திரையை காட்டிலும் அரசியலில் தீவிரமாக இருந்து வருகிறார். போராட்டம், கைது, சிறை என்று சீமானின் வேகம் குறையவில்லை! இத்தனை பரபரப்பான அரசியலுக்கு நடுவே விஜய் நாயகனாக நடிக்க இருக்கும் பகலவன் படத்தை இயக்க அனைத்து முயற்சிகளும் எடுத்து வந்தார்.

Sathyaraj – professor in 3 Idiots,Shankar has Ileana in mind!

The biggest blockbuster in Indian cinema, Rajkumar Hirani ’s 3 Idiots, is going to be remade by a leading production company Gemini circuits in Tamil and Telugu. The ace diretor Shankar has confirmed to a news channels that he will be in charge of the remake.

3 Idiots in Hindi actually stood tall mainly on the riveting performances of the lead stars helped by a decent storyline. So in Tamil also it will be tough task to get the right cast.

Though news were abuzz about Vijay, Madhavan and Simbu are going to be the 3 IDIOTS in Tamil online film enthusiast have been working out so many combinations that is very interesting.

Sathyaraj is said to have been confirmed to do the immortal “Virus” professor played by Boman Irani. And for the only important female role played by Kareena Kapoor, sources say Shankar has Ileana in mind for both Tamil and Telugu versions. Some other sources say Trisha is also in the race.

DC first wrote it, now it is official — top-notch filmmaker Shankar will be embarking on the first- ever remake of his career. The Endhiran director is all set to start his bilingual (Tamil and Telugu) remake of the Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots.

Though speculation was rife as to which actor — Vijay or Suriya — would play the lead role made memorable by Aamir Khan in the Hindi original, sources from the production house claimed that Vijay was once again showing keen interest in playing the protagonist and that he is still under consideration by Shankar.

In a time when there is the sensational news about the release of Endhiran, there is also sensational news about the Tamil remake of the Hindi film Three Idiots. Vijay who was initially reluctant to act in this film decided to act after he came to know that director K Shankar would be directing this film. Silambarasan (STR these days) has not yet made a decision whether to act or not in the Tamil remake of Hindi hit ‘3 Idiots’. The reason, according to the actor is, Vijay playing the role played by Aamir Khan in the original.

Speaking to student journalists at a meeting organised by a Tamil weekly magazine in Chennai recently, Simbu said, “I respect Vijay. And it is good to act with him. But Ajith fans like me a lot.”

“I don’t want to hurt the sentiments of Ajith fans. This is the reason behind me not taking a decision over ‘3 Idiots’ so far,” the actor-filmmaker said and added: “Hopefully I would decide on the issue soon.”

Saying that films targeting youngsters have become the order of the day, Silambarasan said this is because of the changing trend of Tamil cinema. “Because, youth subjects are welcomed by the audience these days,” he said.

The admissions for Idiots academy are open and yet the entries are literally less. The offers extended to the lead roles for Silambarasan and Madhavan along with Vijay not seems to be working. First it was Maddy and now Simbhu not confirming his presence in Tamil and Telugu remake of ‘3 Idiots’.
Just as the news about the trio combo Vijay-Silambarasan-Madhavan was announced, the excitements had no ends. But this morning, Silambarasan has openly admitted that he hasn ’t decided about signing this project due to other commitments.
Moreover, the actor is flying down to Malaysia for taking part in Endhiran audio launch, but will not give the dance performance.
The actor is now working on tunes for his ‘ Poda Podi’ and will kick-start the shooting from next month in London.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently busy with his much-awaited Velayudham, directed by M. Raja. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. Vijay and Raja are currently working on a breathtaking fight sequence with fight master Selvam of Anniyan fame.

Vijay was seen battling with a dozen goon at a huge, specially-erected set at Hyderabad’s Golconda Fort. Velayudham, produced by Aascar Ravichandran, has two heroines: Genelia and Hansika Motwani. Vijay Anthony is the music director.

Ajith influences Simbu’s decision

Silambarasan (STR these days) has not yet made a decision whether to act or not in the Tamil remake of Hindi hit ‘3 Idiots’. The reason, according to the actor is, Vijay playing the role played by Aamir Khan in the original.

Speaking to student journalists at a meeting organised by a Tamil weekly magazine in Chennai recently, Simbu said, “I respect Vijay. And it is good to act with him. But Ajith fans like me a lot.”

“I don’t want to hurt the sentiments of Ajith fans. This is the reason behind me not taking a decision over ‘3 Idiots’ so far,” the actor-filmmaker said and added: “Hopefully I would decide on the issue soon.”

Saying that films targeting youngsters have become the order of the day, Silambarasan said this is because of the changing trend of Tamil cinema. “Because, youth subjects are welcomed by the audience these days,” he said.

The technicians for the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster 3 Idiots have been announced! This news comes as a surprise when the lead cast of the movie is still under discussion.

Harris Jayaraj will score the music for this venture and director Shankar has roped in Manoj Parmahamsa, who cranked the camera for Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, to wield the camera.

Shankar has this time shifted his focus from AR Rahman, who scored the music for Endhiran, to Harris.

It may be mentioned here that 3 Idiots, one of the major hits of the year, had Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor playing the lead roles.

With more Hindi releases scheduled in August, some of them are doubted to be either partially remade or inspired from all-time hits of Tamil Cinema.

LAFANGEY PARINDEY:

The film is produced by Yash Raj Productions and features Neil Nithin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Neil Nithin Mukesh takes on the role of One Shot Nandu, who’s a raging street fighter and Deepika Padukone, a blind girl fixed to 9-5 desk job, but aspires to be a skater. Neil Nithin and his gang of friends now help Deepika Padukone to achieve her dreams. Though the characterizations are completely unparalleled, it looks more or less the same as Vijay-Simran starrer ‘Thullatha Manamum Thullum’.

Hello Darling:

The film is about three women from different social strata (played by Celina Jaitley, Isha Gopikkar and Gunal Pag), who are often troubled by their philandering boss. It’s up to these three women about teaching a fine lesson to their boss (Javed Jaffrey). The film is based on yesteryear Tamil film ‘Magalir Mattum’ that featured Revathy, Rohini and Urvasi in lead roles with Nasser as the baddie. Padmashree Kamal Haasan made his guest appearance during the climax sequence.

Already, there have been series of Tamil films being replicated into Hindi with some alterations that includes Akshay Kumar’s Kambakkht Ishq (Pammal K Sammadham), Housefull (Kadhala Kadhala) and some of the portions in his recent release ‘Khatta Meeta’ directed by Priyadarshan had the same uproarious encounters of house renovation drama in ‘Friends’.

‘Velayudham’ starts in Hyderabad

Vijay’s latest film ‘Velayudham’ directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja started rolling yesterday. The film is currently progressing in and around locations in Hyderabad. A special set was erected at the world famous Golconda fort and the shoot started in that. ‘Jayam’ Raja is filming the climax fight. Earlier Vijay’s 2004 film ‘Thirumali’ was also shot in this historical fort location.

The attractive images of Vijay all dressed like a super man Robinhood with guns and swords in the launch invite materials are going to be from this climax fighting sequence.The action scenes were choreographed by Selvam master who was also the stunt director of ‘Anniyan’. The ‘Anniyan’ look of Vijay may be also because of ‘Anniyan’ producer Aascar Ravichandran is the producer of Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ also.

Young Superstar Says, ‘Nothing Personal, purely professional/’ as he directly met Shankar and expressed his wish of not taking up ‘3 Idiots’ remake offers.

For the past one week, the talks are literally about the trio Vijay-Simbhu-Maddy coming together for the remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’. Sooner or later, it’s turning out to a big letdown for Shankar as both Maddy and Simbhu have refused the offer.

Silambarasan has confessed through this twitter that nothing has got to do with Ajith Kumar and Vijay factors. It was his personal decision as he felt that role isn’t apt for him.

‘I wish all the best for the entire team’ concludes Silambarasan and adds that he always goes by the instinct.

It’s almost confirmed now! Shankar, one of the most celebrated directors in South India, will direct the much-discussed remakes of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. According to sources, Gemini Film Circuit will be producing the flick in both languages.

Vijay will play the lead role (originally played by Aamir Khan) in the Tamil version while Mahesh Babu will replace Vijay in Telugu. Sathyaraj is expected to enact the role made memorable by Boman Irani (Virus) in both Tamil and Telugu.

Silambarasan who was in a dilemma, whether to do Shankar’s 3 Idiots remake, has now opted out of the project.
The star who took the night flight to KL for the Endhiran audio launch, met up with Shankar on the way to the airport and had a heart to heart chat with him.

Later Simbu tweeted around midnight: “Met shankar sir and had a discussion and now here is the news, I am not doing the 3 idiots remake .I wish the team all the very best”.

The buzz was that Simbu was forced to take the decision as Ajith and Vijay fans on the social networking sites clashed over Simbu’s decision to do 3 Idiots with Vijay.

Ajith fans were peeved that Simbu considered a Thala loyalist, was walking into the enemy camp. At the same time Vijay fans welcomed him with open arms and said that his combo with Ilayathalapathy will rock! (see pic )

At a seminar organized by a Tamil magazine Silambarasan expressed his dilemma over the issue. Speaking at the function Simbu said: “I respect Vijay sir and it would be fantastic to be cast opposite him, but Ajith sir’s fans will not stomach it. They love me a lot and I would not like to hurt their sentiments.”

So the clash of fan ideology had a say in Simbu’s decision to opt out of 3 Idiots, though the star has made it clear: “ It’s not because of Ajith sir fans or Vijay sir fans its just that I really dont feel I would suit the character.” Simbu concludes by saying: “It’s a very personal decision; it has nothing to do with them. விஜய் படம் என்பதால்தான் நான் அவருடைய தங்கச்சி வேடத்தில் நடிக்க ஒப்புக் கொண்டேன் என்கிறார் விஜய் யின் புதுத் தங்கச்சியான சரண்யா மோகன்.

தங்கச்சி வேடத்தின் மூலம்தான் தமிழ் சினிமா வில் பிரபலமானார் சரண்யா மோகன். நயனதாராவின் தங்கச்சியாக நடித்தவர் இப்போது விஜய்யின் தங்கச்சியாக நடிக்கப் போகிறார் வேலாயுதம் படத்தில்.

அதென்ன உங்களுக்கும், தங்கச்சி வேடத்திற்கும் அப்படி ஒரு பொருத்தம் என்று கேட்டால்,

ஆனால் இந்தப் படத்தோடு தங்கச்சி வேடத்துக்கு குட்பை சொல்லப் போகிறாராம் சரண்யா. இனிமேல் நாயகியாக மட்டுமே நடிப்பாராம்.

3 இடியட்ஸ் தமிழ் ரீமேக்கில் நடிக்க சிம்பு மறுத்து விட்டதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.

இந்தியில் மெகா ஹிட் ஆன படம் 3 இடியட்ஸ். இப்படம் இப்போது தமிழ் மற்றும் தெலுங்கு சினிமாக்காரர்களின் கையில் சிக்கியுள்ளது. இந்த தமிழ்- தெலுங்கு ரீமேக் படங்களில் ஹீரோக்களாக நடிக்கப் போவது யார் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பு வலுத்து வருகிறது.

விஜய் நடிக்கிறார், சிம்பு நடிக்கிறார், மாதவன் நடிக்கிறார் என்று பேசப்பட்டு வருகிறது. ஆனால் மாதவன் நடிக்கும் ஐடியாவில் இல்லை என்று கூறி விட்டார். மன்மதன் அம்பு படத்தில் தற்போது அவர் பிசியாக உள்ளார். தமிழ் ரீமேக்கில் நடிக்கும் எண்ணமே இல்லை என்று அவர் தனது ட்விட்டர் தகவலில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

It’s going to be double celebrations for all the audiences of kollywood for this year Diwali. On the other hand it is also to be a mega fight between Kamal Haasan and Vijay’s films.

Sources say that Kamal Haasan and Trisha starrer latest film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is in its final leg of its shooting and on the other side, Vijay and Asin starrer upcoming film ‘Kaaval Kadhal’ has already completed its shooting and gearing up to start its dubbing part soon. So, both the films are going to have a big fire at the box office for this Diwali.

Sources also said that as the ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ combo has awed the audience with a biggest blockbuster like ‘Dasavatharam’ few years back and on the other side, Vijay will be coming with different looks and change in story line not like his previous films, much craze is going on among both the fans and kollywood town.

Sure, we can see big crackers firing at the box office for this Diwali but let’s see who will make big of it. Either Kamal or Vijay or both. Watch it for more soon.

Kaaval Kaadhal vs. Manmadha Ambu for Diwali?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 51st film Kaaval Kaadhal, a remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara, will reportedly compete with Kamal Haasan’s much awaited Manmadhan Ambu at the box office this Diwali.

Manmadhan Ambu, directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Udayanidhi Stalin, has completed 65% of the shooting in Venice recently. This romantic comedy features Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha, and Sangitha in the lead roles.

Kaaval Kaadhal, directed by Siddique (of Friends fame), who directed the original version, has a plot with plenty of comedy and action. It also brings back Asin to Kollywood after a gap. Shooting is almost complete and the dubbing will start soon.

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ has completed 65% of the shooting in Venice. With few scenes and songs pending, producer Udhayanidhi Stalin is sure about releasing the film on Deepavali. The shooting of Velayudham is taking place at high speed in Hyderbad with some breathtaking action scenes and risky stunts. Illayathalapathy was seen battling a dozen goons with the fight master as the main baddie.

Known to all that Kaaval Kaadhal which is a remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara is Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 51st movie. There are reports saying that it is going to compete with Kamal Haasan’s most expected Manmadhan Ambu during this Diwali.
Manmadhan Ambu, directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Udayanidhi Stalin, has completed 65% of the shooting in Venice recently. This is a romantic comedy story which features Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha, and Sangitha in the lead roles.
Where as Kaaval Kaadhal, directed by Siddique of Friends fame, who directed the original version, has a scheme with a combination of comedy and action. Vijay is a young graduate, who has a strange behavior pattern. If he likes a VIP, he will worship him as a hero. Also, he will follow them wherever they go. One day, he sees Rajkiran, who is a big business magnate and likes him very much. To be close with him, Vijay applies for his bodyguard position. Rajkiran refuses initially, but Vijay keeps coming back with stronger recommendation. Rajkiran finally agrees to keep Vijay as his daughter’s (asin) bodyguard.

Asin, who plays the role as Meera in this movie, is a college student. She hates Vijay for being with her all the time. She has a close friend, Mithra Kurian, and she hates Vijay too. The two girls now try to get rid of Vijay from being Asin’s bodyguard. In order to distract him, they call Vijay’s cellphone. Asin pretends to be a girl, “Ammu” who is in love with Vijay. Asin who had started calling Vijay, slowly realizes the very good heart of Vijay. She too falls in love with him. Mithra Kurian also develops a soft corner for Vijay’s innocence. Mithra asks Asin to tell Vijay who “Ammu” really is. The time comes where Vijay has to leave Asin, since she finishes her college exams. Mithra asks Asin to go to the railway station and tell Vijay that she is his lover.

Things take a turn, when Rajkiran sees Vijay with Asin at the railway station. He suspects of an affair, and he beats him. Asin, afraid of his father, tells him that Mithra Kurian is “Ammu”, Vijay’s lover. Now, Mithra is forced to tell Vijay that she is his lover. Due to pressure, both Vijay and Mithra leave town together.

Many years later, Vijay and his son come back to meet Rajkiran. Vijay had married Mithra, but she had died a few years ago. Before dying, Mithra had written the whole story secretly in a diary and had given the diary to her son. Vijay’s son knows who the real “Ammu” is. Vijay and his son get ready to go back, and his son asks if Asin would like to come to the railway station. Asin joins Vijay and his son. In the railway station, Vijay sees his son throw the diary in trash. He takes the diary and finds out who the real “Ammu ” is.

What happened next? We need to wait for the movie to be released!!

Tid Bits about Kaaval Kaadhal:

1. This is probably the film with many, many controversies in all directions.

a)Kaavalkaaran (Satya Movies) . He made an issue out of the title, and the title had to be renamed to Kaaval Kaadhal.
b) Asin, defying the ban on cinema artistes to go to Sri Lanka, went there and mingled with Shiranthi Rajapakse. Shiranthi Rajapakse is the wife of Mahinda Rajapakse, who is currently being investigated for genocide of eelam tamils by the UN.

c) The distributors of Sura, revolted against Vijay and Vijay had to give a discount in price for his next movie. Therefore he had to bear the production cost of Kaaval Kaadhal.

2) Vijay’s son, Sanjay is doing a guest role in this movie. He made his first appearance in “Naan Adicha Thangamatte” in Vettaikaaran.

3) One song was shot in Malaysia, Vijay made his second trip to Malaysia after Kuruvi. Apparently Vijay likes Yogi B and Natchatra’s performance very much.

4) Siddique worked with Vijay many years ago in “Friends” . It was a big hit. Can he do the magic again? It is every vijay fan’s wish that it will become a hit!

5) Vijay-Asin pair is beleived to be a lucky combination, since Sivakasi and Pokkiri are both hit movies. Hence, Kaaval Kadhal is expected to be a super hit.

So, currently all his movies are box office hits and both fans and Producers are very happy about it.
The Super Star Next, none other than Vijay, had almost 6 movies in recent years. Unfortunately all of them were big failures and were screened in theatres for a very short time.Well, keeping all this in mind, the young man tried with Sun Pictures with political aspiration.But unfortunately they too have disappointed him.
Well, Vijay is currently busy with two movies and expecting a 100% success in his forthcoming movie ‘Velaayutham’ which is directed by Jeyam Raja and produced by Oscar Ravichandiran. Its heard that in general Vijay demands the director for small changes in the story as he desires.

Manmadhan Ambu: Kamal Haasan’s yet another comedy entertainer with K.S. Ravikumar. The duo’s combination in ‘Avvai Shanmughi’, ‘Thenali’, ‘Pancha Thanthiram’ and ‘Dasavatharam’ have revealed of great success. The additional goldrush in film’s veins will be the presence of Madhavan and Trisha. The film is scheduled for Diwali as Udhayanidhi Stalin plans to do so.

When the news broke Vijay has been confirmed to play Aamir, the twists and turns in the casting story became more loyal to pulp fictions. Silambarasan who was thought to play Madhavan’s role openly antogonised Vijay fans with his childish statement saying he is not doing the film because Ajith fans may not like him working with Vijay.

Madhavan spent more time than required to deny his presence in the film. Now it is ‘Boys’ Siddharth’s time to deny reports.

Today, a morning daily reported that Siddharth will be stepping into the shoes of Madhavan- Silambarasan as he is more than willing to do ‘3 Idiots’ in Tamil because of his mentor Shankar. But later in the day Siddharth vehemently denied the report and categorically said he will not be doing the Tamil version.

Siddharth in 3 Idiots remakes?

Ever since Gemini Film Circuit bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinod Chopra, there is widespread anticipation about the lead roles. Kollywood’s prominent director Shankar will direct the Tamil-Telugu versions after completing his big budget extravagance Enthiran with superstar Rajinikanth. Sources say the director will make some changes in the script to suit the tastes of local audiences.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay will play Aamir Khan’s role in the Tamil remake while Tollywood star Mahesh Babu will play the lead role in the Telugu version. According to a leading English daily, heart-throb Siddharth has reportedly been approached to play one of the lead roles in both versions. It is speculated that Jiiva will be the third hero.

So if all goes well, Vijay, Siddharth and Jiiva, along with Sathyaraj (in the role made memorable by Boman Irani), will feature in the Tamil version, while the only change in the Telugu version will be Mahesh Babu replacing Vijay. Harris Jayaraj will compose music for the film.

months back as the
producers of yesteryear
actor MGR’s ‘Kavalkaran’
complained about the usage of this title. After the issues the film title was changed as
‘Kaval Kadhal’. Now the source says that
the producers and Vijay are not impressed with the present title ‘Kaval Kadhal’ and have decided to change it. Source reveals that the star

Siddharth not part of 3 Idiots remake!

Siddharth has tweeted that he is not part of Shankar’s 3 Idiots remake in Tamil and Telugu.

A section of the local media had claimed that he is going to step into the role which was first offered and then rejected by Silambarasan, as Shankar was his mentor!

Siddharth is busy with three Telugu projects, Bava, 180 and an untitled film for Walt Disney with Sruthi Hassan and has actually no dates. Siddharth tweeted: “Some news of me doing the film cropped up, it’s fake guys.”

Meanwhile Shankar is in a big fix, as he wants to sign big saleable stars for 3 Idiots remake in Tamil and Telugu.

The real issue as far as the Tamil version is concerned is who will pair with Vijay if actors like Simbu and Madhavan are not too keen about it.

Vijay’s Kaval Kadhal is close on the heels of completion. Here’s an interesting piece of news about this film. It seems that the producers and Vijay aren’t impressed with the present title `Kaval Kadhal’ and have decided to change it.

The issues pertaining to the film’s title started few months back as the producers of yesteryear actor MGR’s Kavalkaran complained about the usage of this title. Apparently, the film’s title was changed as `Kaval Kadhal’.

Now we hear that actor Vijay will soon finalize the film’s title prior to the audio launch slated to be held in September. Having worked in Vijay’s most successful films including Ghilli, Vidhyasagar scores music for this film and Iyarkai fame N. K. Ekambaram has handled cinematography. Director Siddique has made certain changes from the original script in accordance to the tastes of Tamil audiences.

With Vijay’s previous films not doing well at box office, the actor has started signing films based on different genres with exceptional storylines.

VIJAY NOT HAPPY WITH ‘KAAVAL KAADHAL’ TITLE!

All of you are much aware that Vijay’s latest forthcoming flick ‘Kaavalkaran’ which was later renamed as ‘Kaaval Kaadhal’ is nearing its completion. The latest interesting news is that the film producers and the hero Vijay are not happy with the current title Kaaval Kaadhal and decided to change it again.

It is heard from the close sources that Vijay will soon confirm the title much before the movie audio launch which is expected to be held in the month of September.

It is being directed by Siddique and Vidhyasagar is scoring the music while Iyarkai fame N. K. Ekambaram has handled cinematography. It is said to be a remake of Malayalam film ‘Bodygaurd’.The film has Asin playing the lead opposite Vijay.

The four of us have been good friends for the longest time and when the song came out in Krish-Vijay combination, Sangeetha immediately made it as her hello tune. She insisted I have it as mine as well,” she reveals.
She further says, “Interestingly, Krish and Vijay also share the same name as Krish’s full name is Vijay Balakrishnan. And then, there are two Sang(i)eethas. I wonder if there’s anything to this bond!”

If a channel that has been in the industry for a little over ten years were to rejuvenate itself, what could be the possible options? It could change its onscreen appearance, or have a new host of VJs, or start a brand new reality show! SS Music has gone in for the new show option, with its “Idea Anything for Vijay”. Flagged off by actor Namita, the “Anything for Vijay” van will bring to Chennai the actor’s most ardent fan for dinner with him. Speaking at the event, H. Ramakrishnan, CEO, SS Music, said that the channel wanted to try something fresh and exciting in its tenth year. “Our goal was to connect and celebrate with the youth of Tamil Nadu. ” And, who better than Vijay can bridge the gap, he asked.
The “Anything for Vijay” van will be the stage where Vijay’s fans can sing, dance, paint, act or do just about anything to win their dinner date with him. Judged by a celebrity panel, this reality show will span 20 small cities and towns in the state starting August 8. The first event will be held at the German Hall in Chennai, and from there the van will drive to other destinations such as Kanchipuram, Dharmapuri and Vellore. Promising to be a tough fight, the show has already received 3,000 registrations. Contestants can register for free, and the easiest way is to send an SMS to the specified Idea number. If someone misses the online and SMS registration dates, they can register themselves on the spot, on the morning of the event in their place.
Hosted by VJs Pooja and Rajiv, the show goes on air this Independence Day. You can catch it while on the move on Hello FM, the official radio partner.
