It will have assertive elements relevant to the youth and the society with powerful dialogues and energetic screenplay in the director�s own way. But the project is delayed now as Seeman is not breathing independent air.

Though other details about the flick are yet to be known, the project and title were almost confirmed and time has to come close for Vijay Fans to see Ilayathalapathy in Seeman’s Venture with High Voltage.

Kalaipuli Thanu will likely to produce the film under his V creations. Let us wait for the Official confirmation from the actor�s side too.

The biggest blockbuster in Indian cinema, Rajkumar Hirani ’s 3 Idiots, is going to be remade by a leading south Indian film production company in Tamil and Telugu. Shankar, the numero uno director in south India, has confirmed to news channels in Andhra that he will be in charge of the remake. There will be an official statement once Shankar decides on the cast and crew of the film.
Meanwhile, Shankar ’s publicist has tweeted that Vijay, Simbu and Madhavan, along with Sathyaraj (playing the role made memorable by Boman Irani), will feature in the Tamil version, while the only change in the Telugu version will be Mahesh Babu replacing Vijay. If this dream project takes off, then it will perhaps be the biggest ever movie in south cinema. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer of the original, has confirmed that he has sold the remake rights to the leading production house in south, who had earlier purchased his Munna Bhai MBBS.
A spokesperson of the production house confirmed that the project will take place after Shankar releases his magnum opus Endhiran. Asked why Shankar, who normally does not do remakes, has opted for the project, the spokesperson said, “After doing a film (Endhiran) which cost more than Rs 100 crore, he cannot go back to doing mundane movies. The remake of 3 Idiots is a bilingual and features big stars like Vijay and Mahesh. It cannot get bigger than this. ” Shankar and the production house feel that what will work in favour of the film, apart from being a multi-starrer, is its “story, which has pure Indian sentiments and the message about the educational system. ” “Education is one of south India’s biggest industries and Shankar will make necessary changes and package it to suit the taste of the local audiences, ” the source added.
Meanwhile, Madhavan has tweeted, “So sorry folks! I’m unable to do 3 Idiots in Tamil and Telugu. Have other plans. I am sure they will find worthier replacements. ”
Simbu, on the other hand, has said that it’s too early to comment as talks are still on. Says Simbu, who thoroughly enjoyed the Hindi flick, “ There’s a message against today’s educational system that’s told in an entertaining manner. Honestly, I’m trying to work out my dates to do the film”. Every heroine worth her salt in Kollywood is also trying to step into the role done superbly by Kareena Kapoor.

A spokesperson of Gemini Film Circuit (GFC), which bagged the Tamil-Telugu remake rights of the biggest Hindi blockbuster 3 Idiots from its original producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, confirmed that this project will take place after numero uno director Shankar releases his magnum opus Endhiran starring Rajinikanth.

Director Shankar who is known

the director has now decided to
remake Hindi ‘3 Idiots’ into a
bilingual in Tamil and Telugu after
the release of his ‘Endhiran’.
Right from the time when Gemini
Film Circuit bought the rights and
decided to remake the film
imagination have been flying
across all corners finally it was
confirmd that Shankar will be in
charge of the south Indian
remakes.
Immediately after signing the
project director Shankar had
met Vijay and confirmed him for
the Aamir Khan’s role. Then
Madhavan was confirmed for the
same role he played in Hindi
version. But there is still news
saying Madhavan is not
interested to do the role again.
Whether will he say no to a
Shankar film is a question. For
the third main lead
Silambarasan@STR is confirmed.
Initially Jeeva was pushed to do
this role but Shankar has opted
for STR.
Mean while in Telugu, Mahesh
Babu will replace Vijay and is told
Madhavan and STR are being
retained for the Telugu also.
But for music Shankar may
have to leave A R Rahman out
this time as he will be busy on
his ‘Jai Ho’ World Tour all this
year. Sources say Shankar has
settled for Yuvan Shankar Raja
this time.

3 Idiots remakes to start soon!

cult classic 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan , Madhavan, Bomman Irani, Kareena Kapoor is now going to be remade in Tamil and Telugu by Gemini Film Circuit. South Indian cinema ’s ‘numero uno’ director Shankar will be remaking the film as a bilingual. Shankar ’s publicist Nikil Murugan has tweeted that Vijay, Simbu, Madhavan along with Sathyaraj playing the role made memorable by Bomman Irani will be there in the Tamil version, while the only change in the Telugu version will be Mahesh Babu coming in the place of Vijay.

3 Idiots had raked in Rs 240 crore from box office collection in its first 10 days of screening and is estimated to have done record business of Rs 400 crore worldwide. Made on a budget of Rs 45 crore, the returns broke all records.

Last Sunday 3 Idiots created television history, when Sony Entertainment channel, sold airtime at rates hovering around Rs 2.20 lakh for 10 seconds, the highest for a film on Indian TV! Shankar and the production house feels more than being a multi starrer what will work for the film is its “story which has pure Indian sentiments and the message about our educational system.

Education is one of south India ’s biggest industries and Shankar will make necessary changes and package it to suit the taste of the local audiences.” .

Endhiran-Velayudham Mania in Small Screen

The teasers for making of Velayudham photo shoot were telecasted during final hours of prime time that was literally colorful and quite attractive. It was all done as a promo for airing the ‘Launch of Velayudham’ on Kalainyar TV, which will be telecasted shortly.

The photo shoot had some of the montages that weren ’t included in the invitation of this movie. In fact, the promos themselves uncovered the storyline of this film as the central characters and their relevancies were very much prevalent in them.

Kalainyar Television may air this programme with accordance to ‘Endhiran’ music release function that is scheduled to be telecasted in Sun TV.
