Vijay surprised his fans on his birthday:

Actor Vijay was the talk of the town yesterday. After all, it was his birthday and his fans couldn’t resist from celebrating their Ilaiyathalapathy’s big day.
Vijay, for his part, didn’t fail to surprise his fans. The actor turned up at one of the government hospitals in the city and gifted the babies (the lucky newborns who get to share their birthday with the Kollywood superstar)a gold ring. The actor then went one step further and posed for pictures with the families of the newborns.

Not to be left behind, the doctors and hospital staff, who were pleasantly surprised at the star’s arrival, grabbed the opportunity to get pictures taken with him, while the birthday boy sought blessings from an elderly lady in the hospital.Needless to say, his fans thronged the venue to get a glimpse of their favourite hero.

On the movie front, Vijay is busy with Kaavalkaran which is a remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard.And that’s not all — we understand that the actor, after a long gap, is doing two films at the same time!

The other film, titled Velayudham, will be directed by Jayam Raja and produced by Aascar Ravichandhran. This movie, we hear, will feature two girls (Genelia D’ Souza and Hansika Motwani) as the star’s leading ladies.

Besides these two flicks, there’s the Tamil remake of the hindi superhit 3 Idiots that Vijay is all set to start soon.

With such a variety of films to look forward to, fans of Vijay are hoping that their Ilaiyathalapathy will bounce back from his last debacle Sura in style.

Good news to vijay fans about story of velayutham.
The film is remake of telungu film Azad. It has story and concept like mixing of Sankars annyan, Muthalvan and Indian. Vijay’s velayuthem contain story like Sanker project.

Director M.Raja earlier reported that this film demands big producer and its make with big budget. It is not remake frame by frame from telungu film AZAD. Only concept is utilised and screen play is created to taste of tamil audience.

Director-producer S A Chandrasekaran, whose production venture ‘Veluthu Kattu’ is hitting the screens today, has said his son Vijay will be careful in his future ventures. “He will not repeat the mistakes of the past,” he said.

“Vijay himself has said in one of his films that ‘life is a circle’. There has never been a flaw in his hard work and his future projects will speak volumes about it. He is very careful about his forthcoming films,” the concerned father said.

Expressing hope on ‘Kaavalkaran’ and ‘Velayudham’, the next two films of Vijay, SAC said, “both have good storylines and talented directors are at the helm of affairs. I have huge confidence on both the movies.”
