What next for Shankar? Vijay?

Shankar will complete ‘Endhiran’ in August and be ready for his next. But what is that next? ‘Endhiran’ was launched in early 2008 and has taken a good two and a half years of Shankar’s time. But the effort is worth the wait as ‘Endhiran’ is going to be the biggest Tamil film ever made.

‘Endhiran’ releases for Diwali and after that Shankar is roumoured to take up a film for Gemini Labs. Though called rumour there is still a talk in trade circles that the film Shankar would be doing for Gemini is the Tamil remake of ‘3 Idiots’. Gemini has the south Indian remake rights for the epic hit ‘3 Idiots’ which starred Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor. The production house is said to have even sounded that Vijay has agreed to play Aamir in the Tamil version.

A film by Shankar wit Vijay is long due. He went online sometime back saying “Many of Vijay fans wanted to know when I am going to do a film with them. Already I had ideas of doing ‘Mudhalvan’ with Vijay (next to Rajini Sir). If a script suits Vijay I’ll definitely do a film with him”. Putting pieces together the pundits feel that suitable script is this and Shankar will direct Vijay at last.

As all even we are waiting for more.

Vijay Antony again for Vijay

Vijay’s next film ‘Velayudham’ is slowly coming of the closet. The last news we heard about the film was that it is a remake in tune with the other films of ‘Jayam’ Raja but Raja was quick to clarify that unlike his other films this is not a frame by frame remake but he had taken only the knot and developed a new screenplay suiting the actor in Vijay.

Now the other news coming out is that Vijay Antony has been confirmed to do the music for ‘Velayudham’. Initial reports said Harris Jayaraj was put in charge of the music and after the hits songs in ‘Vettaikkaran’ Vijay and his director have decided to go with Vijay Antony.

Sources say Vijay Antony will fly with his family soon to Maldives to compose the songs

Good news to vijay fans about story of velayutham.
The film is remake of telungu film Azad. It has story and concept like mixing of Sankars annyan, Muthalvan and Indian. Vijay’s velayuthem contain story like Sanker project.

Director M.Raja earlier reported that this film demands big producer and its make with big budget. It is not remake frame by frame from telungu film AZAD. Only concept is utilised and screen play is created to taste of tamil audience.

Dear fans, We expect velayuthem shoud be a milestone of vijay film. Dir Raja also told “this film is my biggest challange and ready to take challange”. and producer is familier for publicity , so surly its biggest treat to all vijay fans.

Director-producer S A Chandrasekaran, whose production venture ‘Veluthu Kattu’ is hitting the screens today, has said his son Vijay will be careful in his future ventures. “He will not repeat the mistakes of the past,” he said.

“Vijay himself has said in one of his films that ‘life is a circle’. There has never been a flaw in his hard work and his future projects will speak volumes about it. He is very careful about his forthcoming films,” the concerned father said.

Expressing hope on ‘Kaavalkaran’ and ‘Velayudham’, the next two films of Vijay, SAC said, “both have good storylines and talented directors are at the helm of affairs. I have huge confidence on both the movies.”
