Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s much expected movie Kaavalan is set to release. Kaavalan is expected to be release world wide on this pongal in nearly 400 theaters.An official ad from the Kaavalan producers has been released on recently on newspapers stating that the movie will be release for 2011 pongal.

Earlier the movie was expected to release on December 10 and December 23rd. Kaavalan audio was release on December 8th and the songs are already become a huge hit.

‘Kavalan’ is a remake of the super hit Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’. It is about a body guard and the beautiful daughter of a rich man falling in love without knowing to each other and later separate without wanting to. What happened to their love and after is the story. The first half is expected to be a hilarious entertainer while the story tales a serious turn in the second half and the climax will be a shocker.

It is the 51st film of Vijay. Asin, Mithra Kurian and Raj Kiran are major actors in the film. Vadivelu is there for comedy and Roja returns playing the wife of Raj Kiran. Director Siddique, who gave one of the biggest hits of Vijay, ‘Friends’ is the director of ‘Kavalan’

    The US rights of Kaavalan, the much-anticipated Vijay-starrer, have been procured by Ayngaran International and GK Media. The movie is directed by Siddique, who has also wielded the megaphone for its original version in Malayalam. Asin and Vadivelu share the screen space with Vijay in this romantic comedy.

    Vidyasagar’s peppy and fresh music is a treat to the ears and the comedy element in this film is another highlight with Vadivelu and Vijay doing their best. Kaavalan is a sure treat for the family audience and this is evident from the fact that Censor Board has passed it without any cuts

IN COIMBATORE”KG complex” also releasing vijay anna’s kavalan. see today dinakaran news paper(7/01/2011). and one more thing director shankar needs only our vijay anna for 3 idiots.. but kalaignar only giving torture only to shankar not to put vijay anna in that film… lets wait 4 official confirmation..
