Director Shankar has announced the release date of Vijay’s Nanban Movie. Nanban shooting has been completed 100% and the movie will be releasing for Pongal 2012.

Nanban audio will be released in December 2011.The soundtrack and background score of the movie has been done by by Harris Jayaraj.

Nanban features Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Ileana D’Cruz. Nanban is remake of Bollywood Blockbuster film 3 Idiots which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Velayudham Audio Launched – Songs are Rocking!

Vijay’s Velayudham Audio was released today(August 28th) in a grand function at CSI Ground in Pudhur, Madurai. Illayathalapathy Vijay was escorted by 100 cars from the madurai airport to the the venue and it was festival like mood in madurai.

Velayudham soundtrack consists of 6 tracks and the music has been scored by Vijay Antony. Within 5 hours of the audio Launch, the entire Velayudham audio CD’s are sold out. Due to this, Sony Music India have started to reprint more audio CDs to meet the demand.
