Velayudham has made a Box Office Collection of whopping Rs 5.63 crores in it’s opening 5 days which is record for any tamil movie in Kerala. As per sources Velayudham has made a Box Office collections of Rs 42 crores in its opening 6 days.

Velayudham mass entertainer stars Vijay, Genelia D’Souza, Hansika Motwani and Saranya Mohan. Jayam Raja has directed the movie while music has been done by Vijay Antony.

Director Shankar has announced the release date of Vijay’s Nanban Movie. Nanban shooting has been completed 100% and the movie will be releasing for Pongal 2012.

Nanban audio will be released in December 2011.The soundtrack and background score of the movie has been done by by Harris Jayaraj.

Nanban features Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Ileana D’Cruz. Nanban is remake of Bollywood Blockbuster film 3 Idiots which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
