Finally good news for all Vijay fans. Sun Pictures who has acquired Vettaikaran movie rights, has now confirmed that the film will hit screens during Christmas on December 18. The film is being produced by AVM Productions and is directed by debutant Babu Sivan.
Ever since, the project was undertaken by Sun Pictures, it had furthermore raised everyone’s expectations as this production house acquires rights over the film that has good quality entertainment. Recently, there were buzzes that members of Sun Pictures had insisted Babu Sivan to reshoot certain sequences in the film since perfection was missing. Read the rest of this entry »

Vijay;s much awaited movie Vettaikaran has been cleared by the censor board with a with an ‘UA’ certificate. As per sources Censor Board officials have passed ‘U/A’ certificate to this film for extreme violence in the stunt sequences.
Vettaikaran directed by Babu Sivan featuring Vijay and Anushka in lead roles is said to be a family entertainer. Sun pictures who has acquired the rights of the movie has asked the director to re shoot some of the sequences in the film.

Soon after completing “Vettaikaran’, Vijay has almost completed his first schedule for his 50th film “Sura’ directed by SP. Rajkumar. Meanwhile, buzzes have been going around that “Jeyam’ Raja may direct Vijay’s 51st film. But lately we could hear sources stating that Lingusamy has approached Vijay with a script.
Finally, Lingusamy himself clears it off confirming that he is going to direct Vijay’s next film. Interacting with media channels, Lingusamy has said that he is penning a script for Vijay, which would be an unusual action thriller. Followed by her spectacular show with “Arundhathi’ and “Billa’, Anushka has turned the spotlights on her. At present, the actress has almost completed shooting her portions for Vijay’s “Vettaikaran’ and Surya’s “Singam’. Recently, the actress had signed deal with Mahesh Babu’s untitled Telugu flick.
With her hands full with such offers, actress Anushka is keen about not repeating the similar kind of roles as in “Arundhathi’ or “Billa’. Well, about appearing in bikinis the actress has strongly mentioned that she wouldn’t take up such offers for some time. Says Anushka: “I don’t wanna get delineated with prototyped roles as Arundhathi or Billa. In Billa, I had to wear bikinis and skimpy costumes as I enacted the role of seductress. The latest buzz on air surrounding Vijay’s 50th film “Sura’ is that Telugu actor Dev Gill will do the Villain role in the movie. Model-turned-actor Dev Gill has struck gold with his bad boy act as ‘Ranadhir Billa’ in Magadheera. He performed dual role of Senadhipathi Randhev and reincarnated Raghuveer.
Sura is Vijay’s 50th movie and as per some sources the movie is based on a slum near the sea and hero name is the movie will be Sura. Actress Tamanna does the female lead role in the movie, Vadivel takes care of comedy. MS Prabhu is the cameraman, while Murugan is the art director and music will been scored by Mani Sharma.
