Vijay’s new movie, where he teams up with director Jayam Raja, has been titled as Velayudham, as per sources. Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for the movie Kaavalkaran, directed by Siddique.
Velayudham movie cast is still under finalization. As per sources the the search is going on for heroine of the film and several leading heroines of south india are consideration. Harris Jayaraj has been signed up to score the music.

Vijay’s 51st movie Kavalkaran shooting was going on full swing in Karaikkudi and Kumbakonam regions of Tamil nadu. Vijay and Asin along the other crew members was shooting for the the film at these locations.
Now Asin has completed her Karaikudi schedule and gone back to Mumbai. Director Siddique says: “We would have completed nearly 30 percent of the film, when the first schedule ends on April 30. Ilayathalapathy Vijay will start the tamil remake of Malayalam movie Body Guard as his 51st film from April 1st. Directed by Siddique, the film cast Vijay and Asin in the lead roles. Vijay will play the role done by Dileep while Asin is going to do Nayanthara’s role in the Malayalam original. Director Siddique has made some minor changes in the Tamil version to suit Vijay’s style.
Vijay was shown the preview of the movie along with his wife earlier and Vijay liked the script and immediately expressed his wish to remake it in Tamil. Body Guard is a romantic comedy and a family entertainer with sentiments too. Read the rest of this entry »
