Actress Tamanna does the female lead role in the movie, Vadivel takes care of comedy and Pasupathy does the villian role. As Diwali is nearing, Kollywood is getting ready for big releases this year. But the bad news for all Vijay fans is that, it is almost certain that Vettaikaran will not be released for this Diwali!
Sources close to the actor says that the film is not likely to be ready for release, as a song is being shot followed by post production work, and it will be impossible to get it ready for the festival of lights falling on October 17.
A song which was to be shot in New Zealand, was changed due to certain visa problems. Now the same song which was to be shot abroad is being canned at Pune, Lonavala and surrounding areas on Vijay and Anushka. Read the rest of this entry »

Vijay’s forthcoming film Vettaikkaaran audio launch is planned to be held on September 11th. The producers of the film are planning to launch it on September 11 and an official announcement is expected soon.

Vettaikkaaran Movie New Photos
Vettaikaran is Vijay’s 49th film and it is being directed by Babu Shivan, an assistant director of Dharani. The film is produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan and will be distributed by AVM Productions. The film has Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. The film’s background score and soundtrack will be composed by Vijay Antony while Gopinath will be the film’s main cinematographer and V. T. Vijayan as the film’s editor.
